Expressing the heart of God through the creative arts

Written by Iko Akoh on February 13, 2018

For the last two years, I have hosted a reunion for the Artists, Volunteers and Sponsors involved wiyh the UNVEILING Arrs Festival. At the last one in September 2017, an idea was floated to host a series of smaller events featuring seminars, workshops etc related to creativity and faith. Given that these will be like a taster of the festival, I have called this programme of events ‘UNVEILING Lite’.

If you enjoy debating matters concerning Christians in the Arts and/or just like networking with other Christian Creatives then come to our next UNVEILING Lite event on Saturday 30 June in north London. The discussion topic will be ‘Pursuing Healing and Social Justice through the Arts’.

The 1st one on 24 March 2018 (as pictured) featured:

  • Panel discussion / Q& A with¬†Iko Akoh (UNVEILING Director), Andrew Kwapong (Urban Missional Worker at The Engine Room), Graeme Evelyn (Visual Artist commissioned by The Engine Room, creator of ‘Eternal Engine’, largest altarpiece in Europe) and UNVEILING 2017 artist Mr. K (enterprising and visionary Spoken Word artist)
  • Live music by SoulBox
  • Creative Writing workshop led by Rebekah Holden
